Tomáš Hrubý leads the market as the ANO candidate for the October 9-10, 2026 Czech municipal elections in Ústí nad Labem, where the party has held the mayoralty since 2014. His positioning reflects ANO's organizational strength and the decision to replace incumbent Petr Nedvědický with a high-profile outsider known for managing the local basketball club. The race stays tight because a broad opposition coalition under Tomáš Vohryzka (Jedno Ústí) unites multiple parties seeking to end the current ANO-SPD arrangement, while smaller lists led by Yveta Tomková, Radim Bzura, and Michal Mohr split remaining support. Hrubý's June 2026 speeding incident, which resulted in license revocation, introduced a minor negative factor without shifting overall trader consensus on ANO's path to council plurality. Upcoming candidate registration deadlines and coalition negotiations through early September remain the key near-term catalysts that could widen or narrow gaps ahead of the vote.
