Alex Smalley holds the 54-hole lead at Aronimink Golf Club after carding rounds of 67-69-68 to sit at 6-under par, giving traders the strongest signal for his elevated implied probability in the 2026 PGA Championship winner market. Jon Rahm, Ludvig Åberg, Nick Taylor, Aaron Rai, and Matti Schmid remain within two strokes and share strong positioning for a final-round charge, while Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele sit three back with proven major-championship closing form. Scottie Scheffler’s lower standing reflects recent scoring averages that have not translated to contention this week. The tight clustering among the top dozen reflects a bunched leaderboard where small shifts in birdie-making or bogey avoidance on the final day can still reorder the field substantially.
