This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club finishes in last place (20th) in the final standings of the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish in last place in the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season (e.g., they are mathematically guaranteed to finish above 20th), this market will resolve to "No". In the event of a tie for last place, this market will resolve based on the club officially recognized by the Premier League as finishing in 20th place. If multiple clubs are officially recognized as finishing in last place, this market will resolve to the club whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season is cancelled, postponed after June 13, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no last-place club declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Coventry City leads the market for 2026-27 Premier League last place at 56.5% implied probability, ahead of a cluster of promoted and established sides bunched between 43% and 50%. The three newly promoted teams—Coventry, Ipswich Town, and Hull City—anchor the bottom of most pre-season models due to limited top-flight experience, thinner squads, and challenging early fixtures, yet no single side has separated itself after the opening matchweeks. Coventry’s strong Championship campaign under Frank Lampard and additions like Taiwo Awoniyi provide some resilience, while Hull’s surprising early wins and Ipswich’s prior exposure create parity. Mid-table clubs such as Everton, Bournemouth, and Nottingham Forest carry comparable downside risk from inconsistent recent form and squad turnover, sustaining the tight distribution of probabilities across the field.
