Milan Majerský, the incumbent Prešov Region governor and KDH chair, holds the strongest trader consensus at 79.5% due to his nine-year record managing regional infrastructure, education, and development projects ahead of the October 24, 2026, combined local and regional elections. His multi-party backing and focus on continuity have reinforced positioning against challengers. Milan Mazurek (Republika) at 10.5% draws limited support amid his prior electoral showing and legal history, while Smer-SD's late-July entry of MEP Judita Laššáková (7%)—who adjusted residency for eligibility—and independent minister Samuel Migaľ (4%) introduce competition but have not shifted the market notably. Monika Lešková (SNS) and other listed candidates remain at lower implied probabilities, reflecting fragmented opposition in a contest where incumbency and turnout dynamics from paired municipal races are key factors.
