The early stage of the 2026 NFL season, with just two weeks completed, keeps the team interceptions leader market tightly bunched as defensive takeaways remain a small-sample statistic. Seattle, Carolina, Las Vegas, and Pittsburgh sit atop current defensive interceptions totals through strong secondary play and opponent quarterback mistakes, yet no team holds a commanding edge. Traders price in full-season variables including schedule strength, pass-rush pressure, coverage schemes, and injury resilience across secondaries. High interception totals thrown by several quarterbacks in Week 2 further underscore how quickly standings can shift with one or two strong defensive outings. This competitive dynamic leaves room for multiple contenders while "other" captures the broad uncertainty.
