The 2026-27 NFL season opens with a crowded field for interceptions leader as traders price numerous quarterbacks near even odds, reflecting the inherent variability in passing volume, offensive scheme changes, and rookie integration. Young signal-callers such as Michael Penix Jr., Cam Ward, Jaxson Dart, and Shedeur Sanders enter expanded roles that historically elevate turnover risk, while veterans including Jared Goff, Brock Purdy, and Geno Smith operate in systems with elevated attempt totals or new play-calling influences. Factors like offensive-line stability, receiver separation, and defensive pressure create comparable exposure across the group, keeping implied probabilities tightly clustered rather than favoring any single profile.
