Parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held in Russia in September 2026. This market will resolve according to the official voter turnout rate for the 2026 Russia Parliamentary election, defined as the total number of votes cast divided by the total number of eligible voters. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, this market will resolve to the higher bracket. If the results of this election are not known by October 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. The primary resolution source for this market will be official election results reported by Russian government sources such as the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used if official results are not available.Russia's September 2026 State Duma elections occur amid wartime economic pressures, including fuel shortages and infrastructure disruptions from Ukrainian strikes, which prompted the Kremlin to lower its internal turnout benchmarks below the earlier 50% goal. Multi-day voting and expanded remote electronic voting across 32 regions—with over 1.5 million applications filed—have facilitated participation in line with mechanisms used in prior cycles, while state media has maintained limited campaign coverage. Polling shows stable but subdued voter engagement, with United Russia support in the mid-30s and Putin's trust ratings near 70%. These factors keep trader consensus tightly clustered around 50-56% turnout, close to the 2021 benchmark of roughly 52%, as mobilization efforts compete with public fatigue and low-visibility campaigning.
