Maru enters this GSL Season 1 semifinals BO5 against SHIN as the heavy favorite due to an overwhelmingly lopsided head-to-head record, including an 18-0 mark in offline series. The veteran Terran has dominated their 38 prior meetings, winning 36 overall. SHIN, also a Terran, arrives on strong recent form after winning five straight GSL matches to top his round-of-eight group and qualify for Season 2. With a Code S finals berth on the line in the offline playoffs, Maru’s experience in high-stakes PvP and consistent execution against familiar opponents shape the current trader consensus reflected in the implied probabilities.
