Napoli's two-point lead atop the Serie A table for second place after 36 matchdays—70 points with +18 goal difference—anchors their dominant 80.3% trader consensus, bolstered by a strong home record despite a dramatic 3-2 stoppage-time loss to Bologna that briefly tightened the Champions League chase. Juventus (68 points, +29 GD) edges AC Milan (67 points, +18 GD) as the primary threats, benefiting from superior goal difference and recent form, while Roma (67 points, +24 GD) lags on tiebreakers and Como (65 points) faces a steep climb with two rounds left. Remaining fixtures, including Napoli's favorable home clash versus Udinese, underscore the wisdom of crowds pricing in Napoli's resilience.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Serie A as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Serie A season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Serie A season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Serie A. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
