**Tyler Robinson faces trial on aggravated murder and related charges in the September 2025 shooting death of Charlie Kirk, but the case remains in early pretrial stages.** On September 1, 2026, a Utah judge found probable cause on all seven counts—including the capital charge—after prosecutors presented DNA, surveillance, and witness evidence during a multi-day preliminary hearing, leading Robinson to enter not guilty pleas. The next proceeding is a pretrial conference scheduled for October 23, 2026. The market resolves Yes only upon a homicide conviction by July 31, 2027; otherwise it resolves No, including in cases of dismissal, certain pleas, or no judgment. Traders price the Yes outcome at roughly 26.5 percent, reflecting the extended timeline for jury selection, trial, and potential delays or motions in a contested capital case rather than assessments of evidentiary strength.
