Trader consensus reflects intense uncertainty around George Pickens' status with the Dallas Cowboys, who franchised the Pro Bowl wide receiver in late April for a fully guaranteed $27.3 million in 2026 but confirmed no long-term extension talks, prompting reports of his trade demand. Despite Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones repeatedly denying trade intentions, the massive cap hit and Pickens' pending unrestricted free agency after 2026 have sparked widespread speculation, bunching implied probabilities tightly among cap-flexible, WR-needy contenders like the Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, and New Orleans Saints. Recent buzz highlights NFC South and East teams' receiver voids, recent form under new QBs, and draft capital for potential deals before training camp, keeping Pittsburgh Steelers at just 8.5% post their prior trade while elevating upset paths for Bills, Cowboys, and others.
