Multiple MLS clubs have voiced preliminary interest in Cristiano Ronaldo as his Al-Nassr contract winds down, creating a broad field of potential destinations that keeps implied probabilities tightly clustered near 50 percent across teams such as New York City FC, CF Montréal, and LAFC. Trader consensus reflects the absence of a confirmed frontrunner, with recent reports highlighting LAFC and Inter Miami as early inquirers while noting Ronaldo’s public statements affirming contentment in Saudi Arabia through at least 2027. This uncertainty, combined with the commercial appeal of a North American move ahead of the 2026 World Cup, sustains competitive dynamics across a wide roster of options rather than concentrating sentiment on any single club.
