This market will resolve to "Yes" if Jennica Pounds, also known as "DataRepublican", provides public testimony before either chamber of the United States Congress (House of Representatives or Senate), or any of their official committees or subcommittees, by October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". “Public testimony” refers to any testimony that is publicly accessible live (in-person or remote) via official livestream, television broadcast, or other live audio/video distribution. Any testimony or deposition that is closed-door or otherwise not publicly accessible will not qualify, even if recordings or transcripts are later released. The resolution source for this market will be live video or audio of the testimony; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**No meaningful political developments or official actions indicate that DataRepublican (Jennica Pounds) is scheduled or likely to testify publicly before Congress by October 31, 2026.** Pounds, a private software engineer and data analyst whose X account and tools track federal grants and nonprofits, has received amplification from figures including Elon Musk and Sen. Mike Lee but holds no government position or formal role that would trigger routine oversight hearings. Public records and recent activity through August 2026 show media interviews, Substack analysis, and event appearances rather than congressional invitations, subpoenas, or committee announcements. Congressional calendars in a midterm year remain focused on legislative priorities, confirmations, and appropriations; without a specific catalyst such as a targeted investigation into grant flows or DOGE-related oversight, the probability of her inclusion remains low. Traders price the “No” outcome at 90% because no verifiable scheduling signals, committee notices, or statements from relevant lawmakers have emerged to suggest testimony will occur inside the narrow two-month window. Late developments such as an unexpected subpoena or hearing addition could theoretically alter this, but none have materialized.
