Yunseong Chung enters this first-round ITF M15 Tianjin 2 match on outdoor hard courts as the clear market favorite, backed by his higher ranking near 900 and greater professional experience with multiple lower-level titles and career prize money exceeding $18,000. The Korean has posted solid recent results on hard surfaces, though his 2026 schedule has been limited. Xirui Han, a 20-year-old Chinese player ranked around 1445, arrives with strong local momentum after advancing through qualifiers with wins over players including Ku Keon Kang and Suk Ann. No prior head-to-head exists between them, and their year-to-date win rates sit near 60 percent, but Han has faced tougher recent opposition on average. Surface preference slightly favors Han on hard, while Chung benefits from overall consistency in deciding sets and higher-level exposure.
