In the Setka Cup, Andrii Romanenko and Ihor Sukovatyi remain closely matched Ukrainian table tennis competitors who have contested 52 prior encounters, with Romanenko holding a narrow 27–25 series lead. Their July 30, 2026 meeting saw Sukovatyi prevail 3–2 in a high-scoring affair that went over the typical 74.5-point total, continuing a pattern where 62% of their matches exceed that line. Romanenko enters with mixed recent results, including a 1–3 loss to Bohdan Chaikovskyi and inconsistent set wins, while both players face similar local-league scheduling demands and variable rest between rounds. Head-to-head splits and deuce-set frequency underscore the matchup’s competitive balance, leaving outcomes sensitive to current form and in-match momentum.
