Katie Boulter enters the first-round all-British clash at the 2026 Lexus Nottingham Open as the two-time defending champion on grass, where her powerful serve, aggressive baseline game, and comfort moving forward have produced multiple deep runs and titles. She holds a 6-2 head-to-head edge over Harriet Dart, though Dart claimed their most recent encounter at Wimbledon 2024 on the same surface. Both players received wild cards, but Boulter’s higher ranking and proven record at the venue contrast with Dart’s solid recent form and all-court resilience. The grass-court conditions favor quick points and strong serving, amplifying Boulter’s stylistic advantages while giving Dart realistic upset potential in a tightly contested home matchup.
