Recent head-to-head results favor San Francisco, which took two of three at Wrigley Field in early June, including an 18-3 blowout and two extra-inning victories. Key pitching factors include the Cubs' rotation dealing with injuries to Matthew Boyd and others, while probable starters like Ben Brown (low ERA) face Giants arms such as Logan Webb. Home/away splits, recent form, and Oracle Park's pitching-friendly environment remain central to assessing the matchup dynamics.
