Andreozzi/Guinard enter this National Bank Open quarterfinal with stronger recent momentum on hard courts, including the Indian Wells doubles crown and consistent results through Wimbledon and Washington. The Argentine-French pair holds a higher ATP doubles ranking near the top 20 and has demonstrated reliable serving and net play in best-of-three sets. Luz/Matos, ranked around 40, reached the Montreal round of 16 with a win over Cabral/Tracy but carry a mixed 2026 hard-court record and fewer elite doubles titles. Both teams have prior head-to-head experience from Rio, though surface and current form favor the higher-seeded duo in this outdoor hard-court matchup.
