Andre Ilagan and Edas Butvilas meet in the Lexington Challenger final on outdoor hard courts, with Ilagan holding a 1-0 head-to-head edge after a straight-sets win in the Tyler Challenger earlier this year. Both players have shown strong recent form on the surface, as Ilagan advanced past Sebastian Gorzny and Spencer Johnson while Butvilas defeated Dusan Lajovic and Rei Sakamoto to reach the title match. Ilagan, ranked near 243 with home-soil familiarity, benefits from consistent hard-court results and shorter recovery demands, whereas Butvilas, ranked 268 with a career-high of 201, relies on his prior Challenger title experience and aggressive baseline play. The matchup favors the player who maintains first-serve percentages and converts break opportunities under the August conditions.
