Baltimore Orioles (66-69) visit the Colorado Rockies (52-83) for a three-game series at Coors Field beginning August 31, with probable starters Kyle Bradish (7-12, 4.03 ERA) against Tyler Gordon (1-4, 5.38 ERA). The Orioles hold a clearer edge in pitching depth and bullpen stability despite multiple injuries (Tyler O’Neill, Ryan Mountcastle, Ryan Helsley, Felix Bautista), while the Rockies continue to deal with absences including Kyle Freeland and Kris Bryant. Baltimore enters with a 5-5 mark in its last 10 games and sits just 2 games out of the AL wild-card race; Colorado’s 2-8 stretch has left it 29 games back in the NL West. Coors Field’s hitter-friendly conditions have historically inflated scoring in interleague matchups, though the Orioles’ superior ERA (4.21 vs. 5.53) shapes current market positioning around the road side.
