San Jose Earthquakes enter the August 15 home matchup against St. Louis CITY SC with the stronger overall form and standings position at 10-3-5 for 33 points, compared to the visitors’ 7-5-6 and 26 points. The Quakes’ early-season surge, including a lengthy win streak and contributions from key attackers like Timo Werner, established momentum that still shapes trader views of their home edge at PayPal Park. St. Louis has shown inconsistency on the road and sits lower in the Western Conference, limiting their implied win probability. Recent results for both sides have been mixed, with San Jose splitting points in several Western Conference games, yet the home side’s superior record and venue advantage underpin the market’s lean toward a San Jose victory over a draw or away result.
