Xiyu Wang enters the Cincinnati Open qualifying draw as the stronger favorite based on her 32-7 record in 2026, recent return to the WTA top 100 after a strong French Open run, and consistent hard-court results. Bianca Andreescu, ranked outside the top 150, continues to manage injury setbacks including a 2025 ankle issue, limiting her match volume and results against top competition this season. Their lone prior meeting saw Wang prevail on clay in 2023. Traders weigh Wang’s current form and ranking edge against Andreescu’s experience on North American hard courts, with the qualifier format amplifying the impact of any late fitness or scheduling developments.
