Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” leads trader sentiment for the #2 US Spotify song of 2026 at 65.5% implied probability due to its unexpected 2026 resurgence. The track from his 2024 mixtape *Sweet Boy* went viral on TikTok, prompting a Columbia radio push in April that drove it to daily US and global #1 peaks in June with over 1.7 million US streams on peak days. Recent daily charts show it holding #2 behind Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas,” supported by strong cumulative totals despite a July Spotify adjustment that removed roughly 500,000 suspected artificial streams tied to external betting activity. Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” sits at 19% as a steady accumulator, while older catalog tracks and newer releases trail far behind with minimal current momentum. Year-end resolution hinges on sustained streaming through December, where consistent daily performance and playlist traction favor the current frontrunner.
