Scottie Scheffler's dominant run at TPC Southwind has driven trader consensus toward near-certainty for the FedEx St. Jude Championship title. The world No. 1 tied the course record with a second-round 61, birdied the first five holes that day, and maintained multi-shot leads through subsequent rounds including a steady 68 on Saturday before closing with 66 to win by eight strokes. His recent form, featuring a runner-up finish at the 3M Open and consistent top finishes, combined with strong historical results at the event, underpins the market positioning. While an improbable late collapse, sudden injury, or extreme weather shift could theoretically alter outcomes in any PGA Tour event, Scheffler's ball-striking and putting have shown few vulnerabilities across recent starts.
