Royal Challengers Bengaluru hold a slim edge in trader consensus at 29% implied probability for the IPL 2026 title, propelled to the top of the points table with 16 points from 12 matches (8 wins) after Virat Kohli's unbeaten 105 off 60 balls powered a 6-wicket chase against Kolkata Knight Riders on May 13, leapfrogging Gujarat Titans on net run rate. GT sit close behind at identical 8-4 record but lower NRR (+0.551), reflecting their strong bowling led by Jason Holder and recent win over RCB. Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad remain competitive in the top four with solid recent form—PBKS' 6 wins from 11 and SRH's 7 from 12, driven by Abhishek Sharma's explosive batting—keeping the playoff race and championship path wide open amid balanced squads and high-stakes remaining fixtures.
