The 2026 Primera Nacional campaign remains highly competitive midway through the schedule, with a crowded field of clubs separated by narrow margins in the group standings keeping runner-up probabilities clustered around the same level. Recent results have seen Ferro Carril Oeste, Deportivo Morón, Colón, and Almirante Brown occupy the upper reaches of their respective zones, yet consistent points hauls from Deportivo Madryn, Godoy Cruz, and several others have prevented any side from establishing clear separation. Promotion playoff qualification depends on zone performance plus aggregate results, and factors such as home/away splits, fixture congestion, and squad depth continue to influence momentum across the 38-team division. This parity in current form and remaining schedule difficulty sustains the wide distribution of implied probabilities among contenders.
