This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the A League Soccer for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of A League Soccer for the 2026-27 season per the rules of A League Soccer (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the A League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The A-League Men’s 2026–27 campaign opens with exceptional parity across the league, leaving runner-up probabilities tightly clustered because no club holds a decisive edge in squad depth, recent form, or fixture advantage. Newcastle Jets enter as defending premiers, Auckland FC as back-to-back champions with strong home support, and Melbourne Victory, Sydney FC, Melbourne City, and Macarthur FC all retain competitive cores supplemented by off-season transfers and returning Socceroos-eligible players. Central Coast Mariners, Brisbane Roar, and Western Sydney Wanderers add further depth through established youth pathways and tactical continuity, while Perth Glory, Wellington Phoenix, and Adelaide United remain capable of climbing the table on favorable runs. This broad distribution of talent and momentum, typical of a 26-match regular season plus finals series, sustains the market’s even pricing ahead of the October kickoff.
