This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the LaLiga for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of LaLiga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of LaLiga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the LaLiga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Barcelona and Real Madrid dominate trader consensus for the 2026-27 La Liga runner-up spot, with their implied probabilities reflecting a two-horse race shaped by recent title history and squad reinforcements. Barcelona enter as two-time defending champions under Hansi Flick, who recently extended his deal, supported by Lamine Yamal’s continued development and a stable core. Real Madrid counter with Jose Mourinho’s return and high-profile summer additions including Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, and Yan Diomande, aiming to close the gap after finishing second last season. Pre-season results and fixture scheduling keep both sides evenly matched, while mid-table and promoted clubs sit as longer shots given the established hierarchy and limited recent evidence of sustained challenges from below.
