This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Ligue 1 for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Ligue 1 for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Ligue 1 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Ligue 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Ligue 1 runner-up market remains tightly bunched because PSG’s projected dominance (near-certain title favorites at ~99% implied probability) leaves a wide, open field behind them. Multiple clubs enter with comparable roster depth and recent top-half pedigree, including Lens (strong 2025-26 finish), Marseille, Monaco, Lyon, Lille, and Nice, all of whom have executed targeted summer reinforcements to close gaps in attack and midfield. Pre-season models place these sides within a narrow projected-points band (roughly 56-61), reflecting similar underlying strength ratings and schedule difficulty. No single club has pulled clear via major managerial stability or standout transfer activity, while historical patterns show the “best of the rest” slot frequently changes hands among this group. Traders therefore price a broad cluster of realistic contenders rather than anointing any one side.
