This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Primeira Liga for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Primeira Liga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Primeira Liga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Primeira Liga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Primeira Liga runner-up market reflects a tightly contested field driven by pre-season squad reinforcements and early-season form among the traditional powers. Porto enters as defending champions with continuity in attack, while Sporting CP and Benfica have added depth through the transfer window, keeping their title and podium aspirations closely aligned. Mid-tier sides such as Braga, Vitória de Guimarães, and Famalicão bring competitive depth, bolstered by solid recent campaigns and home/away records that historically allow for points hauls against the Big Three. With the league schedule just underway and no dominant early separation, trader consensus prices the outcome as wide open among multiple clubs possessing comparable resources, coaching stability, and fixture difficulty.
