The early 2026-27 SuperLiga campaign remains wide open for second place behind title favorite Universitatea Craiova, with several clubs separated by narrow margins after the opening fixtures. Rapid București, Universitatea Cluj, Argeș Pitești, CFR Cluj, Dinamo București, and FCSB have each posted strong starts or maintained solid recent form, reflected in the tightly clustered trader pricing around 49-49.5% implied probability for the runner-up spot. Head-to-head trends, home/away splits, and squad depth across these sides have kept outcomes unpredictable, while mid-table challengers like UTA Arad and Farul Constanța add further variance. The wisdom of crowds in the market underscores how small differences in results or injuries could quickly shift the hierarchy in a league where historical title challengers often trade positions closely through the autumn schedule.
