This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations per the rules of CAF (e.g., they are eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official information from CAF; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The AFCON 2027 winner market reflects a wide-open field, with Morocco at 20% and Ivory Coast at 17.4% leading a tightly bunched group that includes Senegal, Cameroon, Egypt, and DR Congo all under 13%. Recent continental form, strong qualifying campaigns for the 2025 edition, and deep talent pools across North and West Africa have kept probabilities compressed, as no single side has pulled away through consistent results or standout roster depth. Home-soil advantages for certain hosts, combined with the unpredictable nature of knockout stages and potential injuries to key players, continue to support realistic paths for multiple contenders while limiting any one nation's implied edge. Trader consensus highlights the long timeline to 2027 as another equalizer, with schedule strength and emerging squads like Zambia and South Africa adding further variance.
