Alexander Zverev’s strong recent results on grass and clay, combined with Carlos Alcaraz’s expected return from injury, create realistic pathways for challengers to close the gap through the hard-court swing, US Open, and ATP Finals. Multiple top players maintain competitive schedules with strong head-to-head histories and surface versatility, while the long remaining calendar introduces variables such as form swings, potential upsets, and injury recoveries that keep implied probabilities clustered across leading contenders.
