Early in the 2026 NFL season, the FLEX points leader market remains tightly contested due to comparable projected workloads and efficiencies among elite running backs and wide receivers. Established stars like Justin Jefferson, Bijan Robinson, and Christian McCaffrey benefit from proven volume in favorable offenses, while emerging options such as Carnell Tate and other rookies add uncertainty through target shares and usage in evolving schemes. Depth across positions, variable quarterback play, and the potential for injuries or schedule adjustments keep multiple candidates clustered in implied probabilities, reflecting the narrow margins in seasonal fantasy scoring.
