This market will resolve to "Yes" if it is officially announced that Fnatic will be, has been, or is being acquired by or merged with another entity by the listed date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Mergers or acquisitions involving Fnatic or a parent/subsidiary company will qualify. Fnatic ceasing to exist as an independent entity through merger, consolidation, or similar transaction will qualify. An announcement by Fnatic or its acquiring entity within this market's timeframe will qualify for a "Yes" resolution, regardless of whether or when the announced acquisition/merger actually occurs. Announcements of partial sales may count, as long as the acquiring company acquires a controlling interest in Fnatic. A "controlling interest" refers to a change in ownership sufficient to control the company's strategic decisions (typically more than 50% of equity, or equivalent control via voting and governance rights). Transactions or investments that do not result in a transfer of controlling interest will not count. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Fnatic and the acquiring entity; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Fnatic, the longstanding esports organization with rosters in League of Legends' LEC, Valorant, and Counter-Strike, has advanced deep into sale or investment talks targeting roughly $100 million valuation amid broader industry consolidation. Active negotiations involve at least one Premier League club and a Bundesliga side, alongside reported interest from esports entities such as MOUZ and Wolves, following informal outreach that began in late 2025. Recent reports indicate the process has reached a final stage with multiple offers on the table ranging from minority stakes to full acquisitions, though Fnatic's CEO has framed discussions as investment-focused rather than an outright sale. Trader-implied probabilities reflect this uncertainty, with timelines for an official announcement by early July appearing plausible but dependent on finalizing terms, roster stability, and any shifts in suitor priorities before competitive commitments resume.
