Matthew Dellavedova enters this M25 Taipei 2 second-round hard-court matchup as the clear favorite, holding a No. 299 ranking against Tai Sach’s No. 518 while posting an 80% win rate in his last 10 matches. Dellavedova leads the head-to-head 3-1, including a straight-sets 6-2 6-4 victory over Sach just six days earlier in the preceding M25 Taipei quarterfinals. Both players have competed extensively on hard courts this season, but Dellavedova’s superior recent results, break-point conversion trends, and overall experience at this level underpin the trader consensus reflected in current pricing. Sach advanced with a three-set win in his opening match here, yet faces a significant stylistic and ranking gap against a resurgent opponent on a surface favoring consistent serving and return pressure.
