This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is relegated from Japan J. League at the conclusion of the 2026-27 Japan J. League season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official relegation is defined as a team losing its place in Japan J. League for the following season through their final standing in the 2026-27 Japan J. League, via relegation playoff defeat, or by any other official league decision recognized by Japan J. League. If the 2026-27 Japan J. League season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Japan J. League. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Early in the 2026 J1 League season, after seven matchweeks, Avispa Fukuoka, Tokyo Verdy, and JEF United Chiba occupy the bottom three positions with just four points each, placing them in the automatic relegation spots.** These sides have shown poor recent form, including heavy defeats and limited scoring output, while mid-table and upper teams like Machida Zelvia and Vissel Kobe have pulled clear at the top. With 20-plus rounds remaining, the relegation picture remains fluid as teams in the lower half—such as Kyoto Sanga, Gamba Osaka, and Nagoya Grampus—still have time to improve results through better defensive organization or attacking adjustments. Key upcoming fixtures, squad fitness, and any mid-season coaching or transfer activity will shape whether these early strugglers can climb out of the drop zone before the final standings are set.
