This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is relegated from LaLiga at the conclusion of the 2026-27 LaLiga season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official relegation is defined as a team losing its place in LaLiga for the following season through their final standing in the 2026-27 LaLiga, via relegation playoff defeat, or by any other official league decision recognized by LaLiga. If the 2026-27 LaLiga season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from LaLiga. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 La Liga season opened in mid-August with three newly promoted sides—Racing Santander, Deportivo A Coruña, and Málaga—widely viewed as the leading relegation candidates due to their limited top-flight experience and typical adjustment struggles after promotion. Preseason models and early betting markets have highlighted these clubs alongside Sevilla, which has hovered near the drop zone in recent campaigns, as teams facing the steepest challenges in securing enough points to avoid the bottom three. With only a handful of matchdays completed, traders are closely tracking opening results, injury updates to key squad members, and transfer-window reinforcements that could alter mid-table stability for sides like Elche or Levante. Historical patterns show promoted teams rarely exceed 35-40 points in their return season, keeping early sentiment focused on survival odds rather than European ambitions.
