This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club finishes in the top 2 (positions 1 through 2) of the final standings of the 2026-27 LALIGA season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish in the top 2 of the 2026-27 LALIGA season (e.g., they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), this market will resolve to "No". In the event of a tie for the final top-2 position, this market will resolve based on the clubs officially recognized by LALIGA as finishing in the top 2 of the final standings. If the 2026-27 LALIGA season is cancelled, postponed after June 13, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are otherwise no final standings declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official information from LALIGA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Barcelona and Real Madrid remain the clear frontrunners for the top two La Liga spots in 2026-27, consistent with pre-season simulations and early results. Hansi Flick’s side, defending champions after finishing eight points clear last season, added Rodri from Manchester City plus Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi to sustain attacking depth and midfield control while pursuing a first three-peat since Pep Guardiola’s era. Real Madrid, under returning manager José Mourinho, invested heavily in Yan Diomande, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate, and Marc Cucurella to address recent defensive and squad issues, with Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior leading the attack. Both clubs opened the campaign with strong results and goal tallies, while Atlético Madrid and mid-table sides like Betis and Villarreal trail significantly in title and top-two projections. Schedule congestion, potential late striker reinforcements for Barcelona, and injury management will shape the race through the spring.
