The early weeks of the 2026-27 Liga MX season have produced a tightly bunched clean-sheet race among several established starters. Raúl Rangel at Chivas leads with strong defensive organization and recent national-team form, while José Antonio Rodríguez at Tijuana matches his totals through consistent shot-stopping and team structure. Nahuel Guzmán at Tigres and Keylor Navas at Pumas add veteran reliability from proven clubs, and Luis Malagón, Camilo Vargas, and Carlos Moreno remain close behind with comparable early outputs from América, Atlas, and Pachuca. With dozens of matches remaining and no dominant defensive edge yet established, trader consensus reflects the depth of options and the limited sample size shaping current probabilities.
