This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Cy Young Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Cam Schlittler of the Yankees holds a commanding lead in the 2026 AL Cy Young market due to his AL-leading ERA near 2.21, top-tier WAR, sub-1.00 WHIP, and consistent dominance across 25 starts, limiting opponents to a .205 average while logging substantial innings. Dylan Cease of the Blue Jays trails but remains the primary challenger through elite strikeout totals exceeding 190, a league-best opponents' batting average around .196, and strong recent form including complete-game shutouts that have narrowed the gap in some metrics. A midseason hamstring absence slowed Cease earlier, yet his post-return efficiency and raw stuff sustain trader interest. Distant contenders like Drew Rasmussen lack comparable volume or advanced metrics to close the probability spread at this stage of the season.
