This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Cy Young Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The injury to two-time defending AL Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal, who underwent elbow surgery and is expected to miss several weeks, has opened the 2026 race and shifted trader focus to early leaders. Cam Schlittler has surged to the front with the league’s lowest ERA and highest fWAR among AL starters, backed by the Yankees’ strong rotation depth. Dylan Cease sits close behind thanks to elite strikeout rates and FIP rankings with the Blue Jays, while Jacob deGrom’s resurgence adds another credible contender. With the season still in its first two months, the tight clustering of probabilities reflects the wisdom of crowds pricing in volatile early form, multiple high-upside arms, and the long path ahead where injuries, innings totals, and late surges can quickly reshape the field.
