This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2026 MLB National League West division. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 National League West division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus heavily favors the Los Angeles Dodgers at 85.5% implied probability to claim the 2026 NL West crown, driven by their league-leading +59 run differential and .648 Pythagorean win expectation—well above their current 24-18 record, just 0.5 games behind the San Diego Padres (24-17). As back-to-back World Series champions with unmatched depth, including Shohei Ohtani's two-way dominance (0.97 ERA in recent mound return), Mookie Betts' activation from the IL (oblique), and a fresh trade for outfielder Alek Thomas from the Diamondbacks, the Dodgers are primed for a rebound despite a historic four-game skid with 4+ run losses each—the first since 1936 amid Tyler Glasnow's back spasms landing him on the IL. The Padres' slim edge stems from an early hot streak, but their +1 run differential underscores vulnerability; challengers would need prolonged Dodgers injuries, offensive woes, or a sustained Padres surge amid a grueling schedule.
