This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 Sun Belt Football Championship Game, determining the champion of the Sun Belt Conference for the 2026 college football season, currently scheduled for December 4, 2026. If this championship is postponed after December 18, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple teams are declared co-champions, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Sun Belt Conference (https://sunbelt.org); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Sun Belt's 2026 conference race remains tightly bunched because multiple East and West Division programs enter the season with comparable roster depth, experienced transfers, and favorable schedules that limit any single favorite. Preseason coaches polls highlight James Madison and Troy as division frontrunners, yet Arkansas State earned the most first-team all-conference nods while Marshall leads overall selections, underscoring broad talent distribution across the league. Recent spring portal activity and coaching continuity have kept several other squads—Coastal Carolina, Old Dominion, Georgia Southern, and Louisiana—within striking distance, with no dominant team emerging after last year's competitive finish. This parity produces the current trader consensus of roughly equal implied probabilities, reflecting realistic paths to the title for any of the listed contenders depending on injury outcomes and in-conference results.
