Following the epic series finale of Stranger Things Season 5 on New Year's Eve 2025—split across volumes premiering November 26, Christmas Day, and December 31—Netflix has not released any new episodes from the flagship series, with creators the Duffer Brothers confirming it as the end of the core storyline. Trader consensus reflects this finality, bolstered by the January 2026 making-of documentary One Last Adventure and the full 10-episode drop of the animated spin-off Stranger Things: Tales from '85 on April 23, 2026, which did not qualify as mainline content. Absent official announcements or renewal signals amid Netflix's streaming strategy shift toward spin-offs, sentiment remains cautious; watch for surprise drops or franchise expansions at upfronts or events like Netflix Tudum, though historical patterns favor closure over unannounced continuations.

For the purposes of this market, an “episode” must be listed as a distinct episode of Stranger Things on Netflix and be playable for general subscribers in the United States. A behind-the-scenes featurette, documentary, trailer, recap, cast interview, deleted scenes compilation, or other bonus content will not count unless it is clearly presented by Netflix as an official numbered or titled episode of the series.
If Netflix releases an alternate cut, extended cut, or “secret” version of an already-released episode, it will not count unless it is listed as a separate episode entry on Netflix.
The primary resolution source for this market will be the Stranger Things title page on Netflix (episode list and availability), however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
