This market will resolve according to the team that wins the Western Conference Finals for the 2027 Stanley Cup Playoffs. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2027 Western Conference Finals per the rules of NHL (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2027 NHL season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Western Conference race remains tightly bunched heading into training camp, with the Colorado Avalanche, Edmonton Oilers, Vegas Golden Knights, Minnesota Wild, and Dallas Stars holding the clearest edges in implied probability. The Avalanche enter as regular-season standouts from 2025-26 but carry motivation after a Western Conference Final sweep, anchored by Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar, and a reconfigured forward group. The Oilers lean on Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl while adding goaltending stability, the Golden Knights build on their recent Final run with roster continuity, and the Stars and Wild maintain strong Central Division cores. Pacific teams like the Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks add depth through youth and recent improvement, while schedule balance, injury resilience, and playoff experience keep multiple realistic paths open for the conference title.
