With only one week of the 2026 NFL regular season complete, the market for the worst record remains tightly bunched because early results have produced widespread parity rather than clear separation among contenders. Several projected bottom-feeders posted surprising Week 1 wins, including the Jets, Raiders, and Cardinals, while high-profile teams like the Rams suffered lopsided defeats that scrambled expectations. Roster questions at quarterback, ongoing injury concerns, and schedule strength continue to keep nearly every franchise within striking distance of a league-worst finish over the remaining 16 games. Trader consensus reflects this uncertainty, pricing outcomes within a narrow band as no team has yet established dominant momentum or insurmountable deficits in the standings.

If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to finish the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the worst regular season record, the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If two or more teams finish tied for the worst regular season record, this market will resolve in favor of the tied team that is assigned the earliest selection position in the 2027 NFL Draft under the NFL's draft order tie-breaking procedures (strength of schedule, then the applicable divisional or conference tiebreakers), before accounting for any traded or forfeited selections.
If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 24, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the final regular season standings have not been officially determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL (https://www.nfl.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
