This market will resolve to "Yes" if any player makes a field goal of more than 68 yards during the 2026-27 NFL regular season, thereby breaking the NFL record for the longest field goal made. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The NFL record for the longest field goal made is 68 yards, set by Cam Little in Week 9 of the 2025 NFL regular season. Matching the record exactly will not be sufficient; a player must make a field goal of 69 yards or longer for this market to resolve to "Yes". The field goal must be made; missed, blocked, and aborted attempts do not count. Only regular season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. Preseason and postseason field goals do not count. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined whether any player made a field goal longer than 68 yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Cam Little’s 68-yard NFL record from November 2025 remains the benchmark entering the 2026-27 season.** Multiple 60-yard field goals became routine in 2025 (12 makes league-wide), with Little, Brandon Aubrey, and Chase McLaughlin leading the way, but attempts at 69-plus yards stay rare due to game situations, coaching conservatism, and the need for ideal conditions like altitude, a dome, or late-half desperation. Little’s leg strength stands out—he also hit a non-counting 70-yarder in the 2025 preseason and a 67-yarder in Week 18—yet even he has not replicated 68-plus in subsequent action. Other strong-legged kickers (Aubrey, McLaughlin, Evan McPherson) have produced 63-65 yarders recently, but crossing into record territory requires a confluence of factors that does not occur often in a single season. Preseason makes, such as Harrison Butker’s 69-yarder in August 2026, do not count toward the official mark. Trader pricing at 73.5% for “No” reflects the low volume of viable attempts and the historical scarcity of 68-plus kicks despite improving technique and equipment. Upset potential exists in high-elevation spots like Denver or with late-game heroics, but the bar remains high enough that most seasons pass without a new record.
