Early in the 2026 NFL season, the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, and Philadelphia Eagles hold strong positions among NFC teams vying for NFC Championship berths after opening 2-0. The Seahawks' stingy defense and efficient offense under quarterback Sam Darnold have fueled their fast start, while the 49ers and Eagles leverage deep rosters and proven playoff experience. The Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions remain competitive despite mixed early results, with roster health and divisional matchups shaping their paths. Key injury reports, including neck and lower-body issues for several NFC North and West players, plus upcoming schedule strength and rest advantages, will influence momentum heading into Week 3 and beyond. Trader consensus reflects these early form indicators and historical conference trends rather than guarantees.
