Napoli's commanding lead in the Serie A table after 36 matches—with 70 points and an 18-goal advantage over third-placed Juventus on 68—drives trader consensus at nearly 80% implied probability for securing second place and Champions League qualification. Despite a recent 0-0 draw at surging Como on May 2 that briefly narrowed the gap, Napoli's superior goal difference and favorable remaining fixtures, including a home clash against Pisa, solidify their position as defending champions. Juventus' recent form (unbeaten in five with four wins) fuels their 19% share amid momentum, while AC Milan's dismal run—earning just 4 of 18 points in their last six—has eroded their top-four hopes to 7%. Roma and Como trail as remote outsiders.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Serie A as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Serie A season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Serie A season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Serie A. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
